THE TECHNOLOGY TRANSFER PROFESSIONALS
Ava is a research & development company focussed on products for human, animal health and farmed shrimp. We mainly acquire innovative developments from academic science and industry which we then further develop into marketable products but also run our own research projects.
Our product range spans a wide from ethical drugs to over-the-counter products, from nutritional supplements to scientifically developed personal, animal care products and farmed shrimp.
We market our products:
- By out-licensing of compounds, formulations or ready-made products
- As private-label products for major distributors in Europe and beyond
- Via marketing through renowned wholesalers and daughter companies (Ava Animal Health, Ava Bioscience, Ava Healthcare and Ava Cosmetics)

AVA HEALTHCARE
Ava manufacture, package and brand a comprehensive range of private label supplements from our production facility in Northern Ireland. We have recently upgraded and improved our 50,000sqft production unit to meet ever increasing demand from the UK and abroad. Our seven production lines are kept in operation day and night and we currently employ 85 specialist staff.
AVA COSMETICS & PERFUMES
Our manufacturing department has a variety of process vessels available with the capability to produce a wide range of both hot and cold products. Versatile equipment allows us to manufacture in batch sizes from 25kg to 1 tonne.
We pride ourselves in complying GMP standard environment and utilising controlled processing ensures batch consistency and quality every time.
